Nicolas completed his Grade 9 Level in RCM Violin and RCM Theory components receiving First Class Honours. He studied with the Suzuki Valhalla Institute as well as the Valhalla Summer School of Music and he completed the Teacher Training Workshop “Every Child Can”. He is currently an Engineering Major, with a Minor in Music at the University of Calgary. His musical highlights include playing with the Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra and being the violin accompaniment in such musicals as Fiddler on the Roof and Chicago. He is the two-time winner of B.C.’s Upper Island Music Festival in the intermediate violin category and the three-time representative at provincials. Although new to private teaching, Nicolas has extensive experience volunteering, caregiving and teaching children. He also brings a fresh perspective and excitement to teaching. He enjoys teaching genres such as Classical, Country, Folk and Jazz to Beginner and Intermediate students ages 3+.Radina

Radina has a Bachelor of Music Pedagogy. She has performed with multiple Chamber Ensembles and has 10 years of International Orchestra experience as Violin Player. She has had 14 years of musical education, 39 years of playing experience and 22 years of teaching experience. Her extensive formal training makes the Classical music style her greatest strength. Radina can teach students at any level of Violin and until Grade 8 in RCM Piano. She prefers teaching students who are 6 years or older. Radina has been a teacher at Time Music Studios for the last 10 years.Nicolas

Simone holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Voice & Violin from Ambrose University. Her performance experience range from choirs to orchestras across Calgary and New Zealand as a soloist, trio, quartet and conductor. She has had 20 years of musical learning, 16 year for performance experience and 9 years of teaching experience. Simone enjoys teaching Beginner to Intermediate Voice students and Beginner to Advanced Violin students ages 5 and up in genres such as Classical, Musical Theatre, Opera, Pop & Fiddle Music.Currently, we do not have any violin teachers available for in-home lessons.
