William holds a Bachelor of Music majoring in Comprehensive and Orchestral Percussion from the University of Victoria. His musical performance experience includes numerous Orchestra and Symphony accompaniments, Corpus Colosseum and Kiwanis Music Festivals such as Alberta Winds, Calgary Foothills Concert Band, Greater Victoria Youth Orchestra and Victoria Civic Orchestra. He has had 13 years of musical schooling and 16 years of playing experience. William has been teaching for 3 years and has been guiding students to unlock their own musicality in playing and enjoyment. Throughout his musical resume, he has played a variety of musical genres such as country, funk, blues, classical, folk, hip hop, jazz, rock and heavy metal as well as many newly composed musical works ranging from classical to contemporary. He has been credited by many of his former colleagues as having a clear and helpful, but subtle approach to sharing his knowledge. William enjoys teaching beginner to advanced students any genre that keeps them engaged, furthering their potential and abilities.

Afolabi (Afo)

Afo holds a Jazz Diploma from Mount Royal University and a Jazz Performance Degree majoring in Percussion from the prestigious McGill University. His performance experience includes touring with a pop band across Canada, playing at Jazz Music Festivals in Calgary, Montreal and Mexico, performing at the Osheaga Music Festival as well as recording drumming tracks on multiple albums. A notable musical highlight of his is winning a $3500.00 scholarship for musical excellence from Mount Royal University. With 17 years of playing experience, 6 years of intense musical schooling, and 4 years of teaching experience, it comes as no surprise that Afo is skilled in teaching most musical styles. including: Jazz, Rock, Funk, Classical Snare Drum, Country, Reggae, RnB, Hip Hop, Salsa, Bossa Nova, Samba, and West African Drumming. Afo teaches all ages and levels of playing!
